On April 17th, we hosted our first pop-up in Seoul. It was truly special to connect with so many of you and to experience the contact with the incredible community we’re building in South Korea. To wrap it all up, we’ve put together a short recap of the fashion show we held the day before the event, plus a mini city guide featuring some of the places we were lucky enough to discover and would love to recommend. We hope you enjoy it!
We landed the day before to help our friends at Magic Edition with the final touches for the event. Huge thanks to the entire team whose amazing work made everything possible!
The fashion show was full of surprises. We had a photo booth to capture the day, a runway show and fun activities for the little ones. It was truly amazing to feel your energy and excitement throughout the event.
We hope to be back in Seoul soon, we always have such a great time there. To show just how much we loved it, we’ve put together a list of places we discovered along the way, from your own recommendations to hidden gems we stumbled upon while exploring. And if you have more favorite spots, we’d love to hear about them for our next visit!
First up, don’t miss the area around Gyeongbokgung Palace,a must-see on your first visit. Start your day at Artist Bakery, famous for its amazing sandwiches, perfect for fueling up before exploring.
Then you can head to the palace itself, one of Seoul’s most iconic landmarks, known for its stunning architecture and tranquil surroundings. Fun fact: if you wear a traditional hanbok, which you can rent at the entrance, you get free access!
After your visit to the palace, wander into the quieter residential streets to find 0fr Seoul, a charming bookstore where you can find unique magazines and limited-edition merchandise
If you’re in the mood for a different route, start your day on the south side of the Hangang River with breakfast at Milestone Coffee. Afterward, take a stroll through the riverside parks for breathtaking panoramic views of the city. It’s a great way to appreciate Seoul’s vast scale and rhythm from a peaceful distance.
Then dive into the buzz of Itaewon and grab lunch at Homer Pizza. Go for the pepperoni slice (Antía’s top pick) or the truffle one (Jorge’s favorite!). Either way, you won’t be disappointed. You can round off your day with a visit to the famous N Seoul Tower for sweeping views across the city.
Do you prefer admiring city skylines from the ground? We’ve got a great alternative: head to Storage Book & Film in Yongsan District. It’s a beautiful bookstore with a curated selection of art books and prints, a perfect souvenir to take home. End your day with dinner at Wild Duck Canteen, where a cozy atmosphere and fantastic food await.
That’s a wrap from us! We hope this little guide gives you a taste of our time in Seoul. You’ll find all the places we mentioned linked below in our custom Google Maps list. Huge thanks again to everyone who made this trip so special. We can’t wait to be back soon! 🌸
