A New Point of View is an exercise in which we expose ourselves to the eyes of a photographer, without any limitation or indication. It is a tool to interact with other creators and to expand our limits with the sole objective of continuing to learn.
Only one rule: the photographer transmits us what he/she feels about the collection. The atmosphere, the clothes and the composition are all his/her choice. Different approaches to a topic always enrich our vision of the world.
In this AW20 collection we have Hassan Kurbanbaev (@hassankurbanbaev),photographer, and Misha Kuzhel (@misha_kuzhell), producer, who speaks to us and shows us what The Campamento and “El Barrio” mean for them.
Hassan and Misha are a creative duo based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Together they are doing local projects that can tell us about contemporary Uzbekistan.
In this project with us, they did a story in the little village Suqoq, in the mountains of Parkent area (about 65 kms from the Tashkent). It became a cute portrait story of little villagers and how they share their lives and culture with us.
Since a few years, Hassan and Misha mostly travel around the country. They combine documentary research alongside fashion and portraiture.
